Solare - Toscana IGT 2015

CAPANNELLE – 13%
Production area: Gaiole in Chianti
80% Sangiovese and 20% Malvasia Nera
Aging: About 18 months in French oak barrique
Aging potential: 25 years

One of the most iconic wines produced in Chianti Classico. Intense dark ruby colour with purple rim. Complex wine with aromas of raspberry, cherry, black pepper and liquorice. Mineral palate with smooth and elegant tannins and a long lasting finish. This is a pure gem. The 2015 vintage, is considered the best harvest of the last 10 years.

Uno - Toscana IGT 2020

TENUTA DI CARLEONE – 13,5%
Production area: Radda in Chianti
100% Sangiovese
Aging: 18 months, 10% new tonneaux, the remainder in cement and stainless steel
Aging potential: 20 years

One of the most elegant Sangiovese of Tuscany. Almost a Pinot Noir like but with more strenght and personality. Aromas of blackberries, black cherry, plum and sweet spices. Silky tannins and nicely balanced. Medium to long finish. Pure elegance.

Paleo - Toscana IGT 2020

LE MACCHIOLE – 14,5%
Production area: Bolgheri
100% Cabernet Franc
Aging: 16 months in new oak barrel and stoneware amphora
Aging potential: 30/35 years

Made entirely with Cabernet Franc, this radiant red opens with intense aromas of black currant, Mediterranean scrub, blue flower and camphor aromas. On the supremely elegant palate, supple tannins and bright acidity accompany cassis, black raspberry, crushed herb and licorice before a cedar finish. It’s smooth, radiant and delicious, with great energy.

Anfiteatro - Toscana IGT 2019

VECCHIE TERRE DI MONTEFILI – 14,5%
Production area: Greve in Chianti
100% Sangiovese
Aging: 28 months tonneau
Aging potential: 25/30 years

Exquisite, deep vibrant ruby red. Luscious cherry and ripe plums on the nose, graceful and subtly savoury, very inviting. Supple and elegant on the palate, shows tightly and finely woven tannins, juicy, distinct fruit, with ample succulence and traction, and a long, precise finish.

Saffredi - Toscana IGT 2021

FATTORIA LE PUPILLE – 15%
Production area: Grosseto (Maremma area)
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
Aging: 18 months barriques, (70% of the total are new barriques)
Aging potential: 30 years

This Bordeaux style blend has a celebratory nose, like eating a slice of birthday cake in a comfortable armchair. Cherries, blackberries, vanilla, spice and leather emerge on the palate, alongside candied orange peel and dark chocolate, with herbs and soil at the end. There’s a lot of room to breathe with tannins this tightly wound.

Argentiera - Toscana IGT 2021

TENUTA ARGENTIERA – 14,5%
Production area: Bolgheri
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot
Aging: 14-16 months in barriques
Aging potential: 25 years

Deep ruby red color with a nose expressing complex cherry, plum, and spice tones on a backbone of leather, black pepper, and almonds. Mint and eucalyptus sponsor the spice tones coming from perfect Cabernet Franc vines while sweet tobacco leaf notes offer depth supported by vanilla and toffee oak notes.
