There is a paradise here in Tuscany!

The small valley where the vineyards of OLTRE dwell. In such a magical place we decided to give life to one of the highest expressions of Sangiovese in our land. It is where OLTRE, our pure Sangiovese wine was born!

Beyond the hills south of Montalcino, on Mount Amiata, we have an east-facing plain that is kissed by the Sun for most of the day. In fact, our wine comes from a clone of Sangiovese Grosso, the very variety that in nearby Montalcino is called Brunello.

OLTRE is a complex wine, extremely elegant and refined because of the evolutionary process it undergoes. Soils of volcanic nature contribute greatly to its structure and minerality.

Production area: Montecucco
100% Sangiovese (Sangiovese Grosso)
Aging: 30 months in tonneau and a small portion in barrique. At least 6 months in bottle before to be released on the market
Aging potential: 20-25 years

Beautiful dark ruby red color. Intense smell of of blackberries, dried flowers, leather with notes of chocolate and black pepper. An unique and full bodied wine balanced by a good freshness and elegant tannins. Long finish and enveloping.
